About Tengkoh Academy
We are New York-based musician couple Tengku Irfan and Cheng Jin Koh.
Now husband and wife, we met at the Juilliard School as fresh undergraduates.
Bonded by our love for all things musical, we founded our own music academy uniquely named after our last names. Through our musical experiences in various capacities, we would like to share what we know to a wider range of people through the power of technology.
What makes our lessons distinctive is that we can combine different courses to create a personalized experience based on what you want and need.

Transcription/arrangement services – we can do various genres requested within our means (from classical to pop), piano reductions of orchestral works, cadenzas for concertos, etc.

Pricing: 1st lesson = $70*, lesson after first lesson = $80*, payment up front (before lessons).

Payment options: Venmo/Zelle/Paypal/Wise transfer (for International clients)

Lesson package: 4-lesson package with discount = $300* (after first lesson)

Individually catered based on student’s needs and expectations. Hybrid lesson packages are also welcomed!

Timing/frequency: As all music blooms in their own time, our meetings can occur weekly at a fixed time, or based on availability.
